It was back to the yellow yardage plates and an introduction to the longer course for every one to enjoy!
The competition was played in very sunny conditions with the wet faifways now drying out as we go through the spring.
Division one was won by Josh Davies with a very creditable score, collecting 38 points. In second place was another big hitter Darren Millward with 37 points one point ahead of Gary Mumford who scored 36 points.
Division two saw an incredible score of 45 points from another big hitter in Tim Pearce nine points more than second placed Dave Sharp on 36 and eleven ahead of Martin Glews who came in with 34 points.
Patrick Murphy shot another great score in Division three scoring 43 points ten ahead of second placed Sam Pitchford and eleven ahead of 33 point scoring Kevin Mackenzie.
Next week it is a stableford none qualifier off the front tees, the week after sees a return to the white tees and our first handicap qualifying medal of the 2017 season.
