A funny time to play a medal 3 quarters of the way through the month and a tough time it was too!

Playing from the white tees for the first time for 7 months was an arduous task for us all but it was a bit of a shock to find how well the course was beginning to dry out, after 5 months of almost unplayable conditions perhaps things are about to improve.

It was, as presumed that the big hitters would be winning the day with Liam Kearsley scoring a net 71 to outgun another big hitter by 2 shots as Nigel Saville scored 73.

Kieran Morrow hits the ball a long way and won division 2 with a score of 73 and Mick Cooper shot 75 to come in second.

Steady Sam Pitchford scored a net 72 to come first in the third division winning by 2 from P J Roberts.

As for the twos Steve Lester nabbed 2 – James Showell and Mike Hope had one two each.

It’s raining and snowing this week so lets hope the course has returned to a wetter condition.

Off the Whites!
